Government Reduces 314 Items for Administrative Approval

 

The government has decided to reduce or adjust the number of items subject to State approval by 314 on 10 Oct 2012. So far, 2,497 administrative approval items, or 69.3 percent of the total, have been rescinded or adjusted since the country initiated its administrative examination and approval system reforms in 2001, according to a statement issued by the State Council's administrative examination and approval system reform office.

 

The decision expressed that the government shall quit from the fields which can be independently decided by citizens, legal persons or other organizations, effectively controlled by market competition mechanism and autonomously managed by industry organizations or intermediary agencies.

 

There are 3 items approved by Ministry of Transportation which are The Approval of Establishment of a Resident Representative Office in the Territory of China by Foreign International Road Transport Operators, The Approval of Establishment of a Resident Representative Office by Foreign Ship Inspection Institutions and The Approval for Domestic Freight Forwarder and Shipping Agents in the list as follows:-
