On 1 March 2011, Mr. Masahiro Amemiya, reputable Japanese lawyer and partner of Yoshida & Partners Tokyo, Prof. Takashi Hakoi, renowned maritime law professor of Waseda University Japan and his doctoral student Mr. Gang Li were invited to attend the opening ceremony of Hightime Law Office Shanghai.
Mr. Amemiya graduated from Waseda University and became Japan licensed lawyer in 1999. He is a very knowledgeable scholar and experienced lawyer in Maritime and Admiralty law with his expertise in ship collision, oil pollution, general average, B/L and other carriage contracts etc. Despite his busy practice in maritime legal service, Mr. Amemiya also devotes himself to research and in-depth study on maritime Law with fruitful achievements made and he was invited to be a visiting research adviser in maritime law in Waseda University, being busy in composing his The Admiralty Law.
Prof. Hakoi is a renowned scholar in maritime law and a respectable professor in Waseda University. He graduated from Waseda University with Bachelor’s Degree of Law in 1987, L.L.M in 1991 and P.h.D of Law in 1999. He became a professor in law school of Waseda University in April 2004. Prof. Hakoi specializes in Commercial Law, Maritime Law, International Trade Law and French Law. He commits himself and makes great contribution to the communication and cooperation in maritime law among China, Korea and Japan.
