Before becoming a maritime lawyer in the beginning of 2003, Green Zhu used to work on deck, and as superintendent and then chartering/operation executive in a major oil tanker company. Green had worked in a well-known local shipping law firm as admiralty team head for four years and worked in a leading international shipping law firm as maritime consultant (Shanghai & Hong Kong) for three years before establishing Hightime together other lawyers in 2010.

Cargo insurance subrogation claims against air carriers and third parties over loss of and damages to chip-manufacturing equipment before Shenzhen Intermediate Court in 2022. The case established that two-year’s limitation of action as stipulated in Art 35 of the Montreal Convention of 1999 for the Unification of Certain Rules for International Carriage by Air can be suspended and interrupted in accordance with the law of the court (Chinese law).
Cargo insurance subrogation claims against inland road carriers and stevedores over loss of and damages to chip-producing equipment before Shanghai Financial Court in 2019.
