On 23 May 2017, the Supreme Court of PRC supported Hightime’s defence on the retrial case about the right of subrogation of oil pollution damage caused by MT “Xu Yang 11”. The shipyard took the judgment of second instance wrong and applied to the Supreme Court of PRC for reviewing the case. The Supreme Court of PRC took Hightime’s defence reasonable and finally dismissed the shipyard’s retrial application.
